Memorial Day Vacant Chair Ceremony (Venue Update)

The Anacortes Masonic Lodge invites the public to join their annual Memorial Day commemoration—the Vacant Chair Ceremony, on Monday May 25, 2026 at Fidalgo Masonic Lodge Building at 1019 8th St. beginning at 11:00 am.
This brief and dignified wreath-laying ceremony was inaugurated shortly after the Civil War and has continued since that time to honor those who have given their lives in service of our country.
After the ceremony, Fidalgo Lodge #77 F.&A.M. will offer light refreshments and an open-house tour of the Lodge at 1019 8th St. until 1pm.
Fidalgo Lodge #77 was established in Anacortes in 1891 and continues to provide a myriad of benefits to the community.
