The Freemasons of Fidalgo #77 are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.
Through service, charity, and outreach programs, we support local schools, veterans, families in need, and various community initiatives. Whether it’s sponsoring educational programs like Bikes for Books, contributing to food drives, or lending a helping hand where it’s needed most, we take pride in upholding our Masonic values through action. By working together, we strive to foster a stronger, more connected community for all.
Fidalgo Masonic Lodge commemorates Memorial Day at Causland Memorial Park with the Vacant Chair Ceremony. This brief and dignified ceremony—first performed to honor those who died in the Civil War—honors all members of the military, especially those who have given their lives in service of our country. Veterans are encouraged to wear any part of their uniform that still fits. Refreshments will follow the ceremony.
It’s essential to establish a love for reading early in life. To support this, the Anacortes Masons have partnered with Skagit Cycle to sponsor the Bikes for Books program for Anacortes Elementary Schools, rewarding young readers with the chance to win a new bike and encouraging lifelong learning.
We have joined with the Madrona Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; Anacortes Service Clubs; Tribal governments; and Local Businesses in pooling our support and better leveraging our resources to provide scholarships for Anacortes High School students who are pursing higher education in college or in trade schools.
